Dionysios Tsirigotis is an Associate Professor in the Department of International and European Studies at the University of Piraeus, specializing in Modern Greek History, International Relations, and Diplomacy.
He holds a BA in International and European Studies from the Department of International and European Studies at Panteion University, where he also obtained his MA and PhD in International Relations and Strategic Studies. He was a research fellow of the program “Heraclitus: Research Scholarships with Priority on Basic Research” at Panteion University (2003–2006).
In addition, he serves as a lecturer at the National Security School of the Hellenic Police and at the National Centre for Public Administration and Local Government.
He has published numerous articles, essays, and monographs addressing key issues of Greek foreign policy, international relations theory, and strategic analysis. Indicative titles of his published monographs include:
