On 8 December 2025, the Vice-Rector for Academic Affairs, Professor Spyridon Roukanas, and Professor Fotini Asderaki, Director of the MSc Programme in International and European Studies, participated in the signing ceremony of the Memorandum of Cooperation between the President of the Hellenic Parliament, Mr. Nikitas Kaklamanis, and the Rector of the University of Piraeus, Professor Michail Sfakianakis.
Among other important provisions, the agreement includes the awarding of two scholarships for the MSc Programme in International and European Studies to staff members of the Hellenic Parliament.
The signing of the Memorandum marks the beginning of a long-term and dynamic partnership. The two institutions commit to launching a series of initiatives, all guided by a shared value framework: solidarity, the reduction of inequalities, and service to society.
