
Charalampos Gkousios is a Professor at the Department of International and European Studies, University of Piraeus. He teaches at undergraduate level French language and terminology of international relations, international and European institutions, international and European politics and economic relations as well as the application of new technologies in foreign language teaching. At postgraduate level, he teaches Educational policies for the promotion of multilingualism and intercultural dialogue as well as cultural diplomacy. He served as Director of the Postgraduate Program in “International and European Policies in Education, Training and Research” [2015-2017]. He was the coordinator of the Erasmus and Erasmus Placement mobility programs for the Department of International and European Studies of the University of Piraeus for a decade, 2007-2017. He is an accredited trainer of trainers on the application of new technologies in the educational process. He is a collaborator in the Research Group “Rhetorical Communication and Persuasion” of the Center for International and European Affairs, specializing in Research on France.
He is also a member of the scientific committee of the laboratories of “Educational Policy, Research, Development and Inter-University Cooperation” and “Turkish and Asia Minor Studies”. He has participated, since 2012, as a member of the scientific team and as a trainer in European Jean Monnet Programs. Finally, he is responsible for the implementation of training and research programs in collaboration with the Research Center of the University of Piraeus.
